the week beginning 27th January ’14 (Week 5)

Monday was my lovely wife’s birthday. I was back at work on Tuesday after the girls had probably worn us both out with the excitement of a birthday.

This week included reviewing papers for the Linking Geospatial Data workshop (#LGD14) . There were over 70 submissions for the workshop and some really interesting ones at that.

I attended the UK-EOF Data Advisory Group to discuss Defra’s open data activities and standards work.

I spent some time preparing and writing up the proposal based on the responses to the URI Patterns challenge

This week was packed with a fair few things around the rough topics of recruitment, procurement, change programmes and other things that I can’t detail any further here.
